Visit the Adult Services Desk on the 2nd floor of the Library. Our staff members are more than happy to assist you. We offer a wide variety of services, including:
GHPLD Book Match connects you with personalized titles based on your preferences. Fill out the questionnaire and within a week, our professional title matchmakers will provide you with a list of unique materials handpicked just for you.
Adult Services has developed craft kits that adults can take and make at home. The kits contain all the supplies and directions needed to complete the project. Each month, we’ll offer a new kit. These kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and there is a limit of two kits per person.
If you have questions regarding the featured monthly craft kit and availability, please contact Adult Services at 708-598-8446 ext. 120.
Looking to advance your career, prepare for workforce entry, and/or continue your education? Find out more about Career Online High School, a new program from GHPLD that offers adults the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificate.
Are you a programmer that wants to offer a lecture, demonstration, performance, or other event at the Library? Fill out our Propose an Event form. We welcome any and all inquiries. Please note that due to the volume of inquiries we receive, we are not able to individually respond to each submission.
Community members have access to many organizations available to provide assistance in times of need. The Library has compiled a list of community resources to provide more information about services available locally.
