The following resources are available from GHPLD remotely or within the Library.  A Library card is required.

Points of View Reference Center
Resources for students to understand issues, develop critical thinking skills, and develop persuasive arguments.  Includes essays, overviews, articles, and transcripts on citizens’ rights, earth and environmental issues, global issues, health and medicine, and media and communications.

Primary Search
Resources to support elementary school students, including encyclopedias specifically for kids, articles from children’s magazines including Highlights and Junior Scholastic, and a large image collection.

Public Record
Record Information Services provides access to public record information in the Library or remotely.  View foreclosure lists, business lists, real estate transactions, and bankruptcy information.

Read It!
Read It! helps English Language Learners (ELLs) succeed academically and in everyday life by providing content that supports English-language reading proficiency and comprehension, as well as general literacy, research, note-taking, and academic writing.  Examples of resources include customized articles and practice quizzes to support ELL success, licensed content from leading ELL publishers, illustrations to support understanding, research guides and worksheets, and more.

Scholastic Teachables
Scholastic Teachables offers printable activities for math, science, reading comprehension, STEM, writing, and beyond.  Download printable lesson plans, reading passages, games and puzzles, clip art, bulletin board ideas, and skills sheets for kids Pre-K to 8th grade.

Science Reference Center
Full-text articles to support research in applied sciences, biology, chemistry, earth and space science, and energy.  Includes the Science Image Collection, a database of high-quality science images from National Geographic, UPI, Getty, NASA, and Nature Picture Library.

Small Business Reference Center
Full-text for many top consumer small business reference books, as well as tools to address many small business topics.  Includes business videos, a help and advice section, and details on how to create business plans.

Tutor.com
Get help with homework, studying for an exam or understanding today’s lesson.  Subjects include Math, Science, Social Studies, and English.  Tutors are available everyday from 12pm-12am.  When tutors are unavailable, users can still access lessons, worksheets, study guides, and more.
