Subscription-Based Library Resources:

The following resources are available from GHPLD remotely or within the Library.  A Library card is required.

NoveList K-8

Find recommended reads, information on authors, book discussion guides, reading lists on various subjects such as historical, realistic, and fantasy fiction.

Animated talking picture books, read-alongs, eBooks, and puzzles & games.

Tutor.com

Get help with homework, studying for an exam or understanding today’s lesson. Math, Science, Social Studies, and English.  Tutors are available everyday from 2:00pm – 10:00pm.  When tutors are unavailable, users can still access lessons, worksheets, study guides, and more.

World Book Online

Easy-to-read articles, multimedia, games, science projects, interactive tools, and activities for young readers.  Also features reference content, a biography center, links to world newspapers, 21st century research guides, and much more.

A+ Click

Provides a variety of math and logic puzzles for players to complete.  The website site is aimed at grades 1-12.



Fact Monster

For students, teachers, and parents. Get homework help and find facts on thousands of subjects, including sports, entertainment, geography, history, biography, education, and health.

Free Rice
A website where players answer multiple choice questions in categories such as vocabulary, geography, math, and the humanities.  The website is aimed at all ages, and for every correct answer, 10 grains of rice are donated to the United Nations World Food Programme.

Fun Brain

Provides reading and math games for K-8 students.  There are also web versions of books and comics, such as Diary of a Wimpy Kid. 



Spree Learning Games

Provides links to nearly 300 learning games on various sites online.  These games can be browsed by subject or grade level, which range from pre-school to college.

Tutpup

A website for K-8 students, where players are matched up with others in real time to compete in spelling and math games.
