The Reorganization & Improvement Project wrapped up in early 2018 and we are celebrating with an Open House on Saturday, June 2 from 1-4pm. Please join us as we highlight the many improvements to the Library including the newly renovated Youth Services Department, new location for the Adult Services Department, additional program space, modified canopy at the main entrance, and more! These improvements will allow us to better serve the communities of Hickory Hills and Palos Hills. We are also celebrating the entire day with an Amnesty Day. Read below for more details.
We are thrilled to have Romney Cirillo of Something Fishy, Inc. onsite to talk about the Library’s new aquarium. Younger visitors may enjoy working with a Henna Artist and learning tricks with a Walking Magician.
We will also have some special visitors, free giveaways, and refreshments. Refreshments are generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
We will be holding an Amnesty Day on Saturday, June 2 from 10am-5pm during which you can reduce or have your fines completely waived! Now is the time to forget about the past, clear your account, and start using your Library!
If you have overdue materials, return them to the Circulation Desk on Saturday, June 2 between 10am-5pm. Notify the staff member at the desk that you wish to take advantage of Amnesty Day. We will waive up to $30 in overdue fines.
Existing Overdue Fines
If you have existing overdue fines, no matter when they were charged to your account, we will waive up to $30 in overdue fines.
